Progression and Timeline

Amber's abilities would develop as follows.


The original wish was:

"I wish I was more like the characters I play in roleplaying games."

The resulting change transformed the gentleman in question into a distinctly different in appearance young lady who was also a Dawn caste Solar Exalt. However, it did not initially grant further skills, knowledge, nor major personality change. It also did not provide any items or equipment.


Immediately post-Wish Amber effectively has Lore 2 (Computers +1), Performance 1 (Roleplaying Games +1), Integrity 1, and Resistance 1.

Escape from Scotland

By the time she gets free of Scotland, a process which takes several months, she has improved several of her caste and favored ability. In particular, she is likely to have Martial Arts 3, Survival 3, Stealth 3, Resistance 2, Athletics 1, Dodge 1, Thrown 1. She would have developed Charms to help keep her alive. Her likely Charms are:

  • Hardship Surviving Mendicant Spirit (Survival 3, Essence 1)
  • Fists of Iron Technique (Martial Arts 2, Essence 1)
  • First Martial Arts Excellency (Martial Arts 1, Essence 1)
  • Second Survival Excellency (Survival 1, Essence 1)
  • Easily Overlooked Presence Method (Stealth 3, Essence 1)

To her eternal embarrassment, she also seems to find the Mother's Bounty style coming naturally to her as she becomes capable of using the Charms.
